How to access Wi-Fi hotspot
Pair your device, start your free trial, and set up your vehicle’s Wi-Fi hotspot so your passengers can enjoy their favourite content powered through the Rogers Communication network.

Legal: Wi-Fi hotspot service trial plans are offered free of charge by Rogers and subject to the acceptance of Rogers' applicable terms and conditions. Customers who purchase or lease an eligible VW-branded vehicle by January 31 2022 will receive a Wi-Fi service trial plan that will last for 30 days or until 5GB of data is used, whichever occurs first. If such a plan expires before December 31, 2021, it will automatically renew (i.e. for an additional 30 days or 5GB, whichever occurs first). 
Renewals will only occur until January 31, 2022. Customers who purchase or lease an eligible VW-branded vehicle after January 31 2022 will receive a Wi-Fi service trial plan that will last for 30 days or until 1GB of data is used, whichever occurs first. Such trial plans are not eligible for renewal. 
Once a Wi-Fi service trial plan is no longer available to a customer, any access to the Wi-Fi hotspot services will be based on a pre-paid plan that is subject to the acceptance of Rogers' then-current terms and conditions. The Wi-Fi hotspot feature is intended for passenger use only. Always obey all speed and traffic laws. Do not drive distracted. Drivers must pay full attention to the road and safe driving at all times. Wi-Fi hotspot service is not available in all areas. Wi-Fi hotspot services are initially offered by Rogers. Step 1: Download the Volkswagen Car-Net® Mobile App.
Legal: Car-Net® services are available on eligible model year 2022 and newer VW vehicles. Subject to terms and conditions. Requires working electrical system, and availability of vehicle cellular connectivity and GPS signal. Not all services, functions and features are available on all vehicles. Standard text and data rates may apply. Certain Car-Net® services may require trial or paid subscriptions, which may have their own separate terms and conditions. Other Car-Net® services require third party services that are subject to payment and/or additional terms and conditions. Pricing and availability subject to change. Obey all traffic laws. Step 2: Tap on Buy Plans to see your available options. 


Step 3: Choose the free trial plan, check the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and tap Submit Acceptance

Check back to see if your Wi-Fi trial request has been activated within 24 hours.

Note: If you do not see an active plan in 24 hours, please call 1-833-435-1011.


Step 4: After 24 hours, Tap on Buy Plans. Your Wi-Fi trial status should be active.
