Our Dealers are supporting communities during COVID-19
As we continue to persevere through this challenging time, it’s becoming increasingly important that we support each other. That’s why we’re proud to count our VW Dealers amongst those working to help Canadians in need. Here are some highlights of the initiatives our Dealers have been doing to support their local communities:
Harbourview Volkswagen
To show appreciation to our heroes in masks, Harbourview Volkswagen offered free, contactless car washes to doctors, nurses, lab techs, first responders, and other healthcare workers.
Need to wash your own car? We’ll show you how to clean your car at home during COVID-19.
Barrie Volkswagen
In support of the frontline workers at their local hospital, Barrie Volkswagen organized a physically distanced parade made up of local residents and businesses.
Groupe Grand-Portage
Groupe Grand-Portage provided a fleet of Volkswagen vehicles to companies to help deliver food, medicine, and other essentials.
Volkswagen de l’Outaouais
Following a radio interview with the social services organization ‘Centraide Outaouais’ about their COVID-19 emergency campaign, Volkswagen de l’Outaouais reached out to volunteer a Jetta to help with deliveries.
The Owasco Group
The Owasco Group provided 70 RVs and trailers to Oshawa and Ajax hospitals for doctors and nurses to live in, since many aren’t able to go home.
Belleville Volkswagen
Employees at Belleville Volkswagen offered their services to help Dillon’s Distillers deliver sanitizer to frontline workers in Ottawa and Kingston. Read more about how VW teamed up with Dillon’s Distillers.
We’d like to thank our Dealers for their selfless acts during this time of need. We’re proud to have you in the VW family.
With all the inspiring things VW dealerships have been doing for their communities, one thing is certain: Even in the face of adversity, great things happen when we all come together.
